Taro Spring Rolls





Taro Spring Rolls are absolutely out of this world !! I urge everyone to try this recipe.

Ingredients:
1 lb of yam, steamed and cut into small cubes
1 lb of pork or chicken meat, diced
2 tbs of starch mixed with 2 tbs of water
1 tsp of oyster sauce
pinch of salt
pinch of white pepper
1 egg beaten for sealing spring roll wrapper
1 pkt of spring roll wrapper
1 tbs of dark brown soya sauce
vegetable oil.
Method for wrapping: Refer to Asian Spring Roll on this blogsite.
Method for filling:
In a wok, add 2 tbs of vegetable oil. Add chopped garlic and saute till light brown. Add meat and stir fry for 1 min. Add oyster sauce, soya sauce, salt, pepper. Add yam cubes and mix well.
remove from wok and let filling cool before wrapping.
