French Bean - Salad


My sister Elsie came to visit from her visit to Toronto and we made this salad to go with our seafood barbeque. She also brought me a Grappa from Switzerland (She made her Boss, Hans bought and carry that for me...and brought it U.S. Thank you !! ) that we drank after dinner. Just amazing dinner, wine and Grappa - complete with great summer memories in Charlotte, NC.

Recipe:
1 lb of French beans
1/2 cup of pecans
1/2 cup of red, orange, yellow peppers
1 tsp of olive oil
1 clove of garlic, minced
2 tbs of lemon juice
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp of cracked pepper

Method
Boil the French beans and shock in ice cold water
In a pan, saute the garlic in olive oil, add the peppers and remove from stove. Add the french beans, salt, pepper and toss. Add lemon juice and serve.
