Chicken Herbal Soup



This soup nourishes the yin, lowers the body heat, tonifying the qi, improving the eye vision and strengthening the general health of the body.
Ingredients:
Shi Hu
American Ginseng
Yu Zhu (Solomon's seal - Polygonatum adoratum rhizoma)
Huai Shan (Chinese Yam - Dioscorea opposia radix)
Qi Zi (Chinese Wolfberry - Lycium barbarum)
Mai Dong (Lilyturf root - Ophiopogonis japonicum tuber)
Red Dates
Method:
I used 1 small chicken, skinless. Put the ingredients from the packet, chicken and 6 bowls of water and boil for 3 hours in medium-low heat. Add salt and serve hot.
